Planète Apnée is a freediving school based in Annecy!
Come and discover an activity for everyone!
Freediving is an activity for everyone that I invite you to practice for :
- Leisure: an unusual and fast-growing activity (2 million initiations in France during the 2022 summer season), freediving can meet a need for entertainment with friends or family.
- Well-being: if freediving is synonymous with "depth" or "the Big Blue", the discipline can have a totally different approach to performance. Practised "dry" (out of the water) or in the water, apnea is mainly focused on relaxation, full consciousness. It is a time to reconnect with oneself, to learn physical and mental relaxation and breathing methods to conserve oxygen. It is the perfect discipline to offer in the workplace. Also, the breathing methods can be used in everyday life in the workplace, to learn how to manage stress etc...
- Sport: the world of freediving sees its family grow every year with freedivers who wish to perform, participate in competitions, or simply surpass themselves through a sport that can be very rigorous mentally and physically if it is to be practiced at a high level.
- Sport Health: certified "Sport Health" by the French Federation of studies and underwater sports, I can provide on medical prescription a physical activity adapted to the clinical condition of a patient.
Your provider
I have always been passionate about the aquatic environment and spent most of my childhood on and under the waters of Lake Annecy.
I became a professional in apnea 4 years ago and I will accompany you today to help you discover this unusual activity!
I favour small groups of 4 people maximum in order to make the sessions accessible to all.
Gestures for the environment
Frequently, Planète Apnée organises "Lake Annecy cleaning" outings. This event consists in immersing in group to collect a maximum of waste abandoned in the lake.
Planète Apnée has chosen nylon wetsuits in order not to have to use soap for dressing, and thus to preserve the natural environment as much as possible.
