Des Fromages d'Alain Michel's mission is to help its customers discover and appreciate the best cheeses from Haute-Savoie, France and Europe. For example, it offers a rigorous selection of cheeses made from raw milk, produced by farmers who respect the environment and animal welfare. The cheese dairies also offer a range of in-house specialities, such as the famous Michel fondue, truffle cheeses and gourmet desserts. A wide selection of delicatessen products and quality wines are available to complement the cheese tastings. At Les Fromages d'Alain Michel, the teams do everything they can to satisfy their customers and give them a unique cheese experience.

Alain Michel took over Crémerie du Lac, founded in 1969 by his father Raymond in the heart of Annecy, 20 years ago. Over the years, he has extended his experience by opening several shops, including the Crèmerie du Parc in Annecy-le-Vieux, the Crèmerie des Charmilles in Pringy, the Crèmerie des Aravis in La Clusaz, the Crèmerie du Thiou in Cran-Gevrier, and finally the Crèmerie des Halles in Les Halles de St. Martin.
