Description
Nestling in the hills above Annecy, Château de Thorens, steeped in 1,000 years of our region's history, welcomes you to one of its luxurious rooms.
Its rooms and flats will enchant you with their sumptuous decor and brightly-coloured 17th-century coffered ceilings. Each room is different and bears the name of a person who left their mark on the Château: Marquise de Grollier, Comte Eugène, Marquise de Sales, Comtesse Pauline...
La Table du Château serves hearty breakfasts and traditional fare. Nature and proximity, know-how and local produce are the gourmet hallmarks of the estate. A gastronomy of conviviality and sharing to be savoured in a unique setting.
Owned by the de Sales family for 500 years, Château de Thorens transports you into a world where history, refinement and humanism blend gracefully to create an unforgettable experience.
For over 60 years, the Château has been home to a museum in honour of Saint François de Sales and Savoyard history. You can discover furniture from the Renaissance, Baroque and Second Empire eras.
The Château is now open to new activities, both private and professional, making it accessible to as many people as possible.
The 30-hectare park will immerse you in nature, with its forest, river and pond.
