Saint-Eustache

A small village in the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park, Saint-Eustache is located at an altitude of 728 m on the west side of the lake, 12 km from Annecy. Surrounded by the crests of the Roc des Bœufs (1774 m) and the Semnoz (1699 m), this village has pretty hamlets: le Cruet, le Puget, la Bauche, les Lavanches and offers an interesting biodiversity (forests rich in local tree species, its flora and a varied wildlife) Saint-Eustache also has crosses (at the crossroads of the roads and on the summits of the surrounding mountains), its church (a new building constructed in 1864), its town hall-school (built in 1880, pink in colour and which still houses the kindergarten).
