The Auberge du Père Bise is as lively as ever, under the impetus of Jean Sulpice and his wife Magali! A keen sportsman, the chef offers fine, healthy and light cuisine. Herbs, flowers and wild plants add contrast and colour to his creative, incisive dishes, which take you on a gourmet tour of the lake's fish. For example, the Arctic char with its surprising spruce butter, or the smoked féra, all freshness and precision. The wine list includes a separate booklet devoted entirely to wines from within the boundaries of the former duchy of Savoie. This poetic setting unfolds in an elegant contemporary dining room opening onto the terrace and the silvery shores of Lake Annecy, the purest lake in Europe.
