Mija Food offers two formats for gourmet walks in Annecy. You can choose to set off with your hands behind your back, whistling, your eyes open, your sweet tooth sharpened and your passion for sweets well and truly present. It's a great way to explore the old town, its local specialities and some of Annecy's best-kept secrets. Or opt for a Running Tour, where your thighs get hot and your forehead gets watery, but your sweet tooth remains intact. This format combines sport and tasting, through the town and along the lake, to discover both the local flavours and the beauty of the landscape.
What makes our food tours unique is the desire to move away from the most well-known brands to meet passionate artisans who work with local produce, beauty and goodness. The itinerary, designed as a contemplative stroll, takes you through the narrow streets of the old town, around the castle and by the lake, punctuated by 5 or 6 gourmet stops at local artisans.
These walks last between 2h30 and 3h, and cost between €49.50 and €54.50 depending on the formula and the season. They are available in French or English, 100% on foot and suitable for people with reduced mobility.
