Description
In the heart of Annecy, Kanlaya offers you traditional Thai massages. Oil massage, feet, back and traditional Bo Rarn of Wat Po. Alone or in Duo. Online booking. In the respect of the ancestral tradition. Graduates of Wat Po.
The traditional Thai massage practice was born in April 2018 from a Franco-Thai marriage and a love for Thailand and its traditions. It is with a deep respect for ancestral values that Kanlaya and Thierry have decided to share with you all the art and benefits of traditional Thai massage in Annecy.
Thai massage, or Thai massage, is an ancient and traditional Asian therapy. Thai massage stimulates blood circulation and flexibility. Thus, it acts on the organic and general well-being. It was once practised by hermits from India who were considered to be doctors of Buddha. Today, it is used in Thailand as a therapy to treat tension, insomnia, osteo-articular or organic problems, various emotional and digestive disorders. It contributes to well-being by stimulating the energies circulating in the body through the meridians called "SEN". Digi-puncture, pressure with the fingers, hands, elbows or feet applied to the parts of the body targeted by the practitioner, relieves, relaxes, soothes and regenerates body and mind.

Kanlaya hails from the Issan region in north-east Thailand. She received her traditional massage training at the school of Bangkok's famous "Wat Po" temple. She is qualified in Nuad Bo R'arn massage, Bam Bat (therapeutic) massage, foot massage and aromatherapy massage with oils.
Her touch, feel and sensitivity make her an expert at putting an end to your tensions and energy imbalances in the traditional way.
Watsana is Kanlaya's daughter. Both were trained at Thailand's internationally renowned state training center, Wat-Po.
Endowed with an unrivalled calm and zenitude, Watsana is a sensitive practitioner who listens to your senses. She knows how to relieve your tensions. Her touch is tonic and powerful, making her Bo Rarn massage effective and respectful of tradition.
Mayuree joined us at the end of March 2023. Cousin and niece, she also massaged her parents and grandparents back from the rice fields.
Today, she is a practitioner who has also trained and graduated from the Wat Po training center in Bangkok.
Mayuree doesn't yet speak French, but she's working on it.
Her strength, tonus and gentleness are qualities she knows how to combine to deliver excellent massages.
