Description
A former access route to the heart of the Bauges massif (a regional nature park with the Unesco "Geopark des Bauges" label), this 3 km-long signposted communal path leads from the chief town (church) of Leschaux to the present-day road near the Gîte Nature La Biolette.
This hidden footpath meanders for 2.5 km between fields and woods, allowing you to discover about fiftty species of trees, such as ash, oak, walnut, white alder, aspen. An easy, family-friendly path. 6km return trip, 50m change in altitude. A guided walk is available and starts from La Biolette. An interpretation guide is available to help you learn about these species in a fun way, complete with anecdotes.
