Beyond the spectacular landscape, from the lake’s deep blue waters to the majesty of the local mountains, what truly stands out at Villa Caroline is that feeling of simply getting away from it all. The all-window design stands like a sentry watching over the lake’s pristine, crystal clear water; the now four-star hotel lies hidden behind a beautiful hedge of reeds to offer a true feeling of peaceful tranquility to every guest.
This amazing establishment has nineteen rooms, including a family suite, bright communal areas, a refined interior design, a spa, garden, and private beach, and even a restaurant, Le Lisca, which means “reed” in old French fish bone in Italian. With the tone now set…

“Nothing we take from nature goes to waste. We use it all in our cooking, either for creating delicious meals or to enhance our compost. We maximize the use of every ingredient that enters our kitchen. We use fish bones for flavors and aromas, vegetable peels for broths, and the compost we generate goes to the growers that we work with. Nothing is ever wasted!” Eloi Spinnler explains.
