The creations of La cerise sur la terre evolve over time. They are an association of roughness, contrasts, fullness and emptiness like the landscape around us. There is also colour in touches for a good punch of pep' s or very soft and calm according to the mood to match the dishes of your cupboards.
Each creation takes shape entirely by hand on the potter's wheel or on a plate from large blocks of raw white clay.
Each object is unique. Modelling, drying, firing, decorating... clay takes its time! It settles, transforms, prepares for the final presentation on our tables.
Your provider
At the end of the long corridor of the MJC, there is a pottery workshop, I slip gently onto a stool and start to shape a vase. It is a beautiful vibrant yellow. I am 7 years old.
A long time later... The passion for creation is still there!
Gestures for the environment
On the shop side, the pottery is protected by recycled tissue paper and Kraft bags. Newspapers and cardboard boxes that have already carried purchases are used for shipping.
Bicycle parking - the workshop is very close to the cycle path.
