General Conditions of Sale: Tourist Office Passes

These General Terms and Conditions of Use constitute the agreement between the Purchaser or User and the Office de Tourisme du Lac d’Annecy concerning THE LAC & MONTAGNES PASS, e-card or “physical” card, which you have purchased.

Please read these General Conditions of Use carefully before using your numbered e-card or “physical” card.

Use of the Lake Annecy Tourist Office’s PASS LAC & MONTAGNES is nominative and personal. It implies the pass holder’s unreserved acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Use set out below.

THE LAKE & MOUNTAINS PASS of the Lake Annecy Tourist Office is a scheme set up by the Lake Annecy Tourist Office located at – 1 rue Jean Jaurès – 74000 Annecy in partnership with its members to facilitate access to activities and sites in the Lake Annecy area.
These General Terms and Conditions of Use can also be viewed and consulted at the counter of the Lake Annecy Tourist Office and in the Tourist Information Offices in Annecy, Talloires-Montmin, Saint-Jorioz and Veyrier-du-Lac.

FIELD OF APPLICATION

These General Terms and Conditions of Use apply in their entirety to anyone who purchases or uses LE PASS LAC & MONTAGNES.
By purchasing or using LE PASS LAC & MONTAGNES you accept and undertake as a Purchaser or User to comply with the General Conditions and you confirm that you have read and understood the information concerning the Confidentiality Policy and the use of cookies.

ARTICLE 1 – DESCRIPTION

THE LAKE & MOUNTAINS PASS from the Lake Annecy Tourist Office is a genuine passport offering discounts on certain sites and activities in all the areas covered by the Lake Annecy Tourist Office. These are e-cards equipped with a unique QR code or a numbered physical card.
They allow visitors to access a wide range of activities and tourist sites, and to benefit from reduced-price access.
The LAC & MONTAGNES PASS is valid until 31/12/2023.

ARTICLE 2 – PURPOSE AND DURATION OF APPLICATION

The purpose of these General Conditions of Use is to define the terms and conditions of use of the Lake Annecy Tourist Office’s PASS LAC & MONTAGNES.
They supplement the general terms and conditions of sale of the selling partner. The order implies the customer’s full and unreserved acceptance of the selling partner’s general terms and conditions of sale and the general terms and conditions of use of the Lake Annecy Tourist Office pass.
These General Conditions of Use apply from the date of their acceptance and until the expiry date of the PASS LAC & MONTAGNES from the Office de Tourisme du Lac d’Annecy.
The validity dates mentioned above will apply regardless of the date of purchase or activation of the pass.
Under no circumstances may it be extended after the expiry date of the card. The purchase is firm and definitive.

ARTICLE 3 – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

? ACCOUNT CREATION AND ACTIVATION

Pass purchase and creation operations can be carried out online on the Lake Annecy Tourist Office website: https://www.lac-annecy.com/city-pass-de-l-office-de-tourisme/ou at the Lake Annecy Tourist Office Centre Bonlieu- 1 rue Jean Jaurès or at the Talloires-Montmin, Saint-Jorioz and Veyrier-du-Lac Tourist Information Offices.
The surname, first name and postcode will be required to create the PASS LAC & MONTAGNES.
The order will not be final until we have received full payment of the applicable invoiced amounts. The card can be used once payment has been validated either online or at the counter.
Purchases are invoiced in euros (€).
The following methods of payment are accepted:
– For online purchases on the Office de Tourisme du Lac d’Annecy website (www.lac-annecy.com): bank card.
– For a purchase at the Office de Tourisme du Lac d’Annecy, in one of the Tourist Information Offices in Annecy, Talloires-Montmin, Saint-Jorioz and Veyrier-du-Lac: bank card or cash.

? USE

Before each visit, the holder must present the QR Code of the e-card or the code of the materialized card to validate his/her access with the partner concerned. Holders are advised to check the conditions of access and opening of the sites beforehand, as some activities are seasonal, weather-dependent, limited in number or require prior booking, etc.
For service providers requiring advance booking on their website, the booking must be made using the same name and e-mail address as for the purchase of the PASS LAC & MONTAGNES, in order to be validated.
All the practical information and access conditions relating to each site and activity included are available on the https://www.lac-annecy.com/city-pass-de-l-office-de-tourisme/ website.

The Lake Annecy Tourist Office pass is not a queue-breaking ticket. They do not include availability or access to any events organised by the sites (unless otherwise stated). The occasional closure of one of the partner sites may under no circumstances result in the refund of a current Lake Annecy Tourist Office pass and the Lake Annecy Tourist Office may under no circumstances be held responsible.
The opening times of each partner site are the responsibility of the site itself and are indicated on https://www.lac-annecy.com/city-pass-de-l-office-de-tourisme/. The annual closures of certain sites may under no circumstances result in the refund of a Lake Annecy Tourist Office pass and the Lake Annecy Tourist Office may under no circumstances be held responsible.
The map/guide accompanying the Lake Annecy Tourist Office pass is not a contractual document. It may contain errors for which the Office de Tourisme du Lac d’Annecy cannot be held responsible.

In the event of non-compliance with its contractual obligations or in the event of force majeure, the Lake Annecy Tourist Office reserves the right to terminate its partnership with a partner site and to withdraw the visit services concerned from the Lake Annecy Tourist Office pass offer, without the holder being able to prejudice any claim for compensation for any damage suffered or to claim any reimbursement or compensation whatsoever.

The Lake Annecy Tourist Office pass is neither exchangeable nor refundable in the event of theft, loss, total or partial non-use, damage or due to the closure or exceptional unavailability of a partner site.
Except in the event of a technical malfunction in the Lake Annecy Tourist Office pass preventing validation of the pass when accessing a partner site, the holder may go to the Tourist Office in Annecy or to the Talloires-Montmin Tourist Information Offices, Saint-Jorioz and Veyrier-du-Lac to exchange their pass, on the understanding that the details of the faulty e-card or magnetic card (date of expiry, day(s) of use remaining and passages available) will be transferred to the new e-card. All rights remaining on the previous card will be transferred to the new card for the benefit of the customer. The customer will not suffer any prejudice.

ARTICLE 4 – DATA PROTECTION

The personal data collected on the site results from the voluntary communication of an e-mail address when a form is sent.
The e-mail addresses collected in this way are only used to transmit the information requested.
The electronic addresses collected will not be transferred to third parties or processed in any way by the Office de Tourisme du Lac d’Annecy.
The French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, amended by the Act of 6 August 2004, governs the use of files or processing of personal data, whether automated or manual. You have the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning you (art. 34 of the French Data Protection Act).

The customer benefits from the legal guarantees:
– Legal warranties of conformity (article L. 211-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code)
– Guarantees against hidden defects (article 1641 of the French Civil Code)
– Biennial warranties (article 1792-3 of the French Civil Code) on the Lake Annecy Tourist Office pass and the right to use it as explained above.
