Chainaz-les-Frasses

At the gateway to the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park, halfway between Annecy and Aix-les-Bains, this pretty little village will open its doors to you between fields and forests. Its name comes from “Chênaie” which means small hill planted with oak trees and “Frasses” from “frênaie”, place where ash trees are planted. Don’t leave without visiting the “La Spiruline des Bauges” farm to recharge your batteries!
