Argonay

Argonay is an urban commune, at the crossroads of the Fier and its tributary, the Fillière. In 1963, it was home to the headquarters of Dassault Aviation. It is proud of two buildings dating from the Middle Ages: the church of Saint-Christophe (15th century) with objects listed as historical monuments and the Maison du Barioz (14th century), a fortified house and possession of the de Sales family. Take a break in its small deer park on the edge of the forest and contemplate its neo-Romanesque chapel with its magnificent panorama.
