The most mountainous commune of the Pays d’Alby, situated in the Chéran valley, Allèves is famous for its remarkable site, the Tours St Jacques (stone monoliths), an astonishing fantasy of nature, constituting a beautiful geological attraction and a famous hike. From its rural past, it has kept its barns, formerly used to store hay. Discover the neo-Gothic church of Saint-Blaise, the public ponds of the commune and take a walk in the undergrowth of Allèves where the cyclamen bloom.
