Very easy to use, the ViAnnecy application does everything it promises: sharing of hikes, evaluation of a GPX (distance, altitude difference, duration), recording of a hike, visualisation on a map, possibilities of detours (guidance, alerts) or the audio function. You can use a selection filter to choose a particular criterion (accessibility for disabled people and pushchairs, around a lake or a watering hole, a specific theme…)

It’s an opportunity to go for a walk without worrying and to discover mythical routes, but also to get off the beaten track in complete safety!

For example, you can walk through the historic centre of old Annecy and not miss any of its heritage and architectural treasures. If you want to learn more about the flora and fauna of the lake, the family trails of the “Sentier des Roselières” or the “Réserve Naturelle du Bout-du-Lac” will delight you. And if you want to get some height with breathtaking panoramas, we recommend the sports trails of Mont-Veyrier, Parmelan, Semnoz or the Glières plateau. You can also find different ideas for outings throughout the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park… There are so many to discover!

For those who love the paper format, the Grand Annecy agglomeration has produced a map of 58 walks and hikes.

These different routes will guide you towards superb panoramas and varied natural environments.

This map can be found in the various Tourist Information Offices of the Tourist Office (selling price: 5 €).

The hiker code

Every time you go for a walk or a hike, you are on a shared space. Farmers, foresters and landowners are counting on you.

  • Stay on the paths, avoid shortcuts
  • Respect nature, it is fragile
  • Take your rubbish home
  • Be courteous in all circumstances
  • Close the fences

Help us to improve the itineraries of Grand Annecy! An error in marking, a defective sign, a problem of pollution, a need for security, a conflict with a landowner or other hikers… Send us the information.
