To guide you in this learning process, you can discover the techniques for descending easy canyons through our Level 1 and 2 Autonomy Courses.

Level 1 (day 1) focuses on learning to rappel independently and to move safely along fixed ropes. Level 2 (day 2) focuses on learning rappel and fixed rope setup techniques. The mornings of each day will be dedicated to learning these techniques on dry land on a cliff face. In the afternoons, you will be able to apply the techniques learned on the cliff face in the canyon. All the obstacles encountered in the canyon will be practical exercises allowing you to learn how to analyze and overcome them safely. Level 1 Day 1 Objectives: Learn the basic principles for safe canyoning; Be autonomous on your rappel descent; Move on a fixed rope; Analyze and overcome an obstacle that does not require the installation of a rope. Level 2 Day 2 Objectives: Know how to set up a releasable rappel; Know how to releasable a rappel; Know how to equip and de-equip a releasable fixed rope; Analyze and overcome an obstacle requiring the installation of a rope. Program for the Level 1 and 2 autonomy course: see details in the day course descriptions. Who is this course for? Adults and teenagers from 16 years old. Participants must have already practiced canyoning at least once, know how to swim, and not be afraid of heights. What should you bring? Bring a picnic lunch, sports shoes, your swimsuit, and your Canyoning equipment if you have it. The price includes the provision of canyoning equipment and supervision by a professional, but does not include accommodation or transport to the canyoning sites.
